Refund

This policy applies to paid programming consulting services offered by NodeBeacon Consulting (Pty) Ltd (technical assessments, advisory sessions, and scoped implementation engagements).

Cooling-off (direct marketing)

If you engaged our services after unsolicited direct marketing (for example, responding to an advertisement), the Consumer Protection Act provides a cooling-off period of five (5) business days from the date of concluding the transaction, subject to statutory exceptions.

Service fees

Proposed, pending business confirmation: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, prepaid service fees may be refunded within five (5) business days of initial written confirmation of the engagement, minus any work already performed and documented.

Deposits and milestone payments become non-refundable once the agreed milestone work has started, as stated in your statement of work.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Advisory sessions may be rescheduled with reasonable notice as set out in your booking confirmation. Late cancellations may forfeit the session fee if we cannot reasonably reallocate the time.

How to request a refund

Email info@nodebeacon.digital or call 031 000 0115 with your name, engagement reference, and reason for the request. We respond within a reasonable period and process approved refunds using the original payment method where possible.

Work already delivered

Deliverables accepted in writing, or milestone outputs already transferred to your repositories, are not eligible for refund except where required by law or expressly stated in your contract.
